About Aleksandra
I am a professional visual artist with more than 30 years of experience exhibiting in Australia and Europe. I hold Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Visual Arts and a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment. Alongside my artistic practice, I work in gallery and exhibition management, supporting artists and delivering professional exhibitions.
My practice combines traditional artistic training with contemporary visual arts and professional exhibition practice.
Alongside my professional artistic practice, I work as an artist mentor, supporting emerging artists in developing technical skills, conceptual thinking and professional exhibition practice.

As an artist mentor, I work with adults, university students and emerging artists who are committed to developing a professional art practice.
Depending on each student’s goals, lessons may include:

Online mentoring offers the same professional guidance as face-to-face sessions. Working through Zoom, students receive individual critiques, portfolio reviews, technical demonstrations, conceptual development and personalised feedback. This format is ideal for emerging artists, university students and professionals seeking to strengthen their artistic practice, prepare for exhibitions or develop a cohesive body of work.
I offer in-person lessons throughout the Cairns region. For students outside Cairns, professional mentoring is available online via Zoom, allowing artists across Australia and internationally to access personalised guidance and portfolio development.
