Boaz is a passionate and knowledgeable teacher. His lessons have a great balance between theory and practice, and I feel very encouraged and safe to train / discover my voice with him.

A month before my wedding, I went to Boaz for help to sing Lea Salonga’s Two Words. He helped me train, develop my own style, and build my confidence to serenade my now-husband at our wedding. I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher through this journey.

Hi My name is Carina Cheng. I have been learning singing and acting from Boaz for a year and a half now. He is a professional singing and acting teacher, and he can pinpoint exactly where you can improve and provide you with effective practice methods. The atmosphere in his classes is also very comfortable and enjoyable. He frequently expresses concern and encouragement for his students, which has helped me build a great deal of self-confidence.

I first met Boaz performing together in the RSC’s “My Neighbour Totoro” (Sept 2023 - March 2024). I was always impressed by his dedication to vocal/physical warmups/development, his obvious skill, as well as his positive and gentle leadership in our community. What a pleasure to now be his student and experience his vast knowledge firsthand.

He gives productive advice and always understands the student's needs whether in their voice or their mental well being. He also gives good recommendations on song choice that suits your vocal type and feedback on singing technique and useful exercises that help find your voice. I met Boaz through a musical theatre workshop where he was instructing students on theatre craft. I had been taking private vocal lessons with him before he returned to the UK. I found his vocal exercises very helpful for I observed prominent improvements very early on.

Boaz is an exellent tutor for singing. He takes attention to lots of details and is extremely patient in classes as he explains theory and technique in a way that accommodates to my needs to help with my understanding. His way of teaching allows theory and technique to be taught and undestood before applying it into songs, and I have found that extremely efficient as a way of learning, which significantly contributed to my progress in singing within a short period of time. He is extremely dedicated to his craft and I am extremely thankful to have him as my vocal teacher.
