I love to start with the basics. To be proficient in JavaScript, it requires a solid knowledge of HTML/CSS so that's where I love to begin. I usually explain and demonstrate the underlying mechanism of how programming works and give lots of exercises for my students to practice. Programming is not exactly a theoretical course so I love to carry my students along and allow them to code as we progress
