Its only difficult when you don't understand.
I believe any subject becomes interesting when you understand and start loving it, and that is possible when you able to do it, which requires a little effort and the right guidance.
I start off with the topic by different ways to approach it, understanding the fundamentals and practicing it which makes it easier over time and interesting.
