About Marcus

I am a dedicated educator with a Bachelor of Primary Education and Graduate Certificate in Early Childhood Education. My teaching philosophy is rooted in patience and empathy, creating a safe and stimulating environment where my students can thrive. I am passionate about nurturing curiosity and fostering a lifelong love of learning. Through my work with the NSW Department of Education, I also possess experience in effectively teaching and differentiating English and Mathematics to students with English as an Additional Language or Dialect (EALD). I also have a strong passion for Early Childhood Education and endeavor to provide the best educational program for Pre-K children ensuring that they are ready for Primary School.

About the lesson

I am a qualified proficient teacher with a Bachelor of Primary Education and hold a Graduate Certificate in Early Childhood Education. I have over 7 years of experience working in the education sector, including teaching in NSW Department of Education schools, at tutoring centers and individual contract tutoring. I am qualified to teach in large classroom settings, as well as differentiated lessons to students 1 on 1 or in small group settings. I help my students to achieve their personalized learning goals by teaching in 1-2 hour lessons of a chosen subject. These subjects include a wide variety of KLA's such as Mathematics, English, Science, HSIE, Art and PDHPE. My lessons best suit students of a Pre-K level up to Year 6 (ages 3 to 12), however, I am also able to provide homework help and targeted Literacy and Numeracy skills for Year 7 - Year 8.
