About Brian
I have worked as a freelance for 30 years for many different companies sometimes taking teaching jobs in between.
I love teaching and give voluntary lessons to charities and basic educational organisations.
My first subject is Programming but I am happy as well teaching maths for which I have a passion.

I take an innovative approach to teaching programming using examples that demonstrate the core concepts. I can demonstrate using real-world examples how programmes are used and developed.
Lessons can be at any length depending on the wishes of the student.
I have taught programming and maths in the colleges in West Yorkshire. Currently I am voluntarily teaching basic literacy as I communicate well with beginners.
I am happy to give lessons to students with no prior programming experience or to existing software developers.
