Examples programs are prepared by selecting commonly used instructions in Assembly language.
Example program in C is prepared for LCD (16x2 alphanumeric Display)
Interaction of hardware and software is shown on a DEVICE. This is very useful for application development. A small application is prepared for each example program.
The DEVICE has built in hardware for 8051 controller and Graphic Display. Program is shown on graphic display while functioning and voltages can be measured on hardware.
Following programs are available for demonstration.
(Programs from Sr. no 1 to 15 are in assembly language and Sr. 16 is in Embedded C)
1) Introduction (free lecture)
2) Switch and LED
3) Switch and LED with conditional branching
4) Switch and LED with delay routine
5) Switch and LED with large delay
6) CJNE Instruction
7) JBC Instruction
8) RR (rotate right) Instruction
9) Indirect addressing with R0
10) SWAP Instruction
11) External Interrupt 0
12) Packed BCD and ASCII
13) Delay with Timer 0
14) Timer 0 interrupt
15) Writing on LCD (16x2 alphanumeric Display)
16) Writing on LCD (16x2 alphanumeric Display) using C program
All above programs need @15 minutes for explanation.
Once you have command on programming then you should get target board,PC ,flash programmer etc for hands on experience.
