About Ashlei
I worked as an embedded software engineer for 5 years, and later led a team of engineers on large international projects, before deciding to come to university to study engineering with the goal of becoming a research veterinary medical bioengineer.
I joined the University of Cambridge in 2020, and enjoy tutoring in my downtime.

Programming is collaborative puzzle solving. You need to prove your programs work, and write them so that other people can easily understand and maintain them. I teach programming from absolute basics, building in these practices and principles from day 1.
These lessons are usually between 30 and 60 minutes long, and can be made suitable for any age. I can teach traditional programming in a variety of languages: C, C#, Python, etc. but also provide lessons more suitable for children using Minecraft.
These lessons are aimed towards providing key skills for personal projects or applying for software engineering jobs, and don't cover any specific syllabus.
