About Ruthie
I am a passionate flute tutor with 7 years of experience teaching students from school to college level, and I believe that music is a powerful tool for building confidence, creativity, and self-expression. My journey with the flute began with a simple curiosity that gradually grew into a deep passion, and today I am dedicated to sharing that passion with my students. Over the years, I have worked with many learners, helping them progress from beginners to confident performers.
One of my proudest achievements has been seeing students who once felt unsure perform on stage with confidence and joy. My teaching style is simple, patient, and structured, focusing on strong fundamentals such as breathing control, finger coordination, tone clarity, and rhythm accuracy.
I also ensure that lessons are engaging and enjoyable so students stay motivated and consistent in their practice. I believe every student has unique potential, and my goal is to guide them with dedication while helping them develop a lifelong love for music.

My teaching method for flute is built on Motivation, Communication, Integrity, and Creativity. I focus on helping students learn with confidence and interest. I motivate students by setting small goals and giving regular feedback.
Communication helps me explain lessons in a simple and clear way, especially techniques like breath control and fingering. With integrity, I ensure students learn step by step and build strong fundamentals.
Creativity helps me design engaging lessons with songs and activities. I also teach basic music theory and rhythm to support overall learning.
