About Mohid
My name is Mohid Khalil, I am a 2nd year student in UQ undertaking a Bachelor of Biomedical Science with a Provisional Entry for a Doctor of Medicine once I've finished my undergraduate degree. For my career, I am deeply interested in psychology, psychiatry, medicine, philosophy, politics and many things esoteric. I one day hope to be able to use the few gifts I have and be a psychiatrist, and help and mentor people through the difficulties of life. And likewise, I want to help students step through the difficulties of school and education, and make them flourish as the best people they can be. My ideal relationship with a student is one that grows to be one of genuine friendship, and my aim is to be proud of what my students have achieved, whether it be achievement over 5 sessions or 50. I guarantee my sessions will be a safe space with minimal judgment or condescension, but of mutual collaboration.
As for my hobbies and life outside of uni and this, I play a mean bass guitar and produce music.

About the lesson

1-2 hour lessons with a chill atmosphere. You can bring me questions and essays to look over, or I can teach you concepts in a more 'teacher-style' lesson plan, no issue with either. I can teach any subject, but would heavily prefer literature/English, chemistry, psychology, math methods, biology and anything MMI related. Math specifically is something I've mostly left behind in my uni years, so I will be very rusty and will need to catch up on the content I once learned.
I am good to tutor any age group, but I may not be free enough time wise to give students in Year 12 the amount of lessons and attention that they may need. I am willing to teach Year 9 - 11s, and prepare them to be able to handle higher education content.
For credentials, I was top of my chemistry class with a 98%, and got a 96% in psychology, and 94% in literature. I do love teaching and mentoring, especially for English, and so I hope I will be of service to any students that decide to have me as a tutor.
