About Susan
I have privately tutored over many years and I possess three university degrees, BA (Psychology), BPsychology (Hons) and Master of Applied Science (Research). I started my career in policing, have worked in research, regulatory work and also sales. I am extremely patient, am a mother of two girls, one at college and one at primary school. I love teaching others, I am a great communicator and can provide people with the tools to develop their own skills, eg concept maps.

Firstly I believe in lifelong learning and I am constantly educating myself through reading and writing and keeping abreast of new technology, politics, economics, culture, philosophy and religion, for example. My tutoring relationship with a student would be based on this philosophy. After establishing a collaborative relationship with the student I would set expectations of what is required depending on the learning objectives. We would then be able to engage in dynamic dialogue to enhance the learning experience which should be fun and empowering. I am very encouraging, patient, possess a great sense of humour and have the ability to find novel ways to transfer knowledge.
