About Chahna

Hi! I’m Chahna, a Psychology student at Monash University with a strong passion for learning and helping others achieve their academic goals. I’m friendly, patient, and approachable, and I believe every student has their own unique way of learning. My aim is to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident expressing themselves, asking questions, and learning from their mistakes. I especially enjoy working with younger students and helping them improve their English skills, including reading, writing, spelling, grammar, and comprehension. I’m reliable, responsible, and committed to making lessons engaging and enjoyable. I am also a Working with Children Check verified tutor!

About the lesson

I am an 18-year-old Psychology student with a strong understanding of child development and experience supporting learners with Autism and ADHD. With an IB background, I have developed strong skills in reading comprehension, creative and analytical writing, grammar, and communication. I enjoy helping students express their ideas clearly, strengthen their vocabulary, and build confidence in their writing and speaking abilities.

My teaching style is creative, patient, and structured, combining clear explanations, examples, guided practice, and interactive activities. I adapt each lesson to the student’s individual needs and learning pace, creating a calm and encouraging environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and developing their English skills.
