About Sharanpreet
Welcome! I’m Sharanpreet, a dedicated and patient tutor passionate about helping students succeed in Math and Science. With high scores in Grade 12 (India) and top ranks in Olympiads, I have a strong academic foundation that I bring into every lesson. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Psychology in Adelaide, which enhances my understanding of how students learn and helps me communicate concepts clearly. I have several years of experience tutoring younger students and mentoring peers, guiding them through homework, exam preparation, and confidence-building. My approach is patient, structured, and tailored to each student’s pace, ensuring they not only improve their grades but also develop a love for learning. My Teaching Approach I believe that every child learns differently, so I adapt my teaching style to suit the student’s pace and needs. I break down concepts into simple steps, use everyday examples, and encourage students to ask questions freely. My goal is not only to help them improve their grades but also to build their confidence in learning. Techniques and Methodology -Step-by-step explanations for difficult topics -Practice questions and examples after each concept -Regular revision and quick quizzes to strengthen memory -Creating a positive and patient environment where mistakes are seen as part of learning -Using visual aids, real-life examples, and problem-solving techniques for better understanding Qualifications I completed Grade 12 in India with high scores in Mathematics and Science, and I achieved high ranks in Olympiads, demonstrating a strong academic foundation. Currently, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Psychology in Adelaide, which further strengthens my communication and teaching skills. Experience -I have been tutoring younger students and cousins in Mathematics and Science for over two years, helping them with homework, exam preparation, and building confidence in their studies. Through this, I have developed a patient and supportive teaching style. -In addition, I have experience in mentoring peers before board exams by creating notes, practice questions, and revision plans. This has strengthened my ability to explain concepts clearly and adapt to different learning needs. Typical Lesson Length -Standard lessons: 1 hour -Can adjust to 45 minutes for younger children or 90 minutes for exam preparation if required Levels I Teach -Primary school students (Years 1–6) – all subjects -High school students (Years 7–10) – mainly Math and Science
