About Akora
My name is Akora Anderson, and I am a rising sophomore double-majoring in psychology (B.S.) and sociology (B.A.) at Howard University. I am a member of my school's student association, which allows me to act as a bridge between the student body and administration, advocating for student support and resources. Alongside leadership, I achieved a cumulative 4.0 GPA, demonstrating my commitment to academic excellence. Beyond the classroom, I dedicate my time to community service initiatives that reflect my values, including food pantries, environmental sustainability, and animal shelters.

I teach with interactive lesson plans and slideshows. A typical lesson plan would include material and then short Kahoot-based quizzes to test students' knowledge and comprehension of the lesson. The reason students should allow me to tutor them is because of my willingness to help and my patience with students. My approach is words of affirmation when students are experiencing trouble with assignments.
