About Adoriah
I’m a psychology student with over 8 years of tutoring experience in all core subjects, including math, reading, writing, and science. I also spent 6 years as a traveling au pair, which gave me extensive hands-on experience supporting students’ learning, adapting to different educational systems, and working closely with families across a variety of needs and ages. Whether you’re looking for help catching up, staying on track, or building confidence, I provide patient, personalized tutoring focused on helping students truly understand—not just memorize. I hope not only to help students understand the material, but also to build the confidence they need to succeed independently. I have a genuine passion for supporting students holistically—academically, emotionally, and developmentally—and for helping them feel capable, understood, and motivated in their learning.

I specialize in breaking down complex concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps that fit each student’s learning style. I meet students where they are academically and find creative, individualized ways to work through learning blocks so they can build real understanding and confidence. I have worked with students who had different learning challenges and as a tutor I like to take the time to understand how a student learns so we can achieve the best results while making it as enjoyable as possible. I believe learning can be fun for all ages if we're willing to step outside of the box.
