Hello! My name is Lauren Murphy, and I am an Assistant Psychologist working within the NHS with a strong academic background in psychology and mental health. I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology, a Postgraduate Certificate in Low Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, and an MSc in Early Intervention in Psychosis.
Throughout my career, I have developed a passion for helping others understand complex psychological concepts in a way that is engaging, accessible and relevant. Whether supporting patients, facilitating therapeutic groups or presenting research findings, I enjoy building confidence in others and adapting my communication to suit different learning styles.
I am excited to tutor Psychology because I genuinely enjoy learning, teaching and helping students achieve their potential. I hope to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students not only develop their knowledge but also gain confidence in applying psychological theories, research and evaluation skills to succeed in their exams.
