About Diwas

I am Diwas Shrestha, Founder and CEO of Swimming Everyday, an internationally established swim education organization founded in Nepal in 2005.

For more than 21 years, I have been actively involved in teaching, coaching, program development, and promoting swimming as a life skill. Through Swimming Everyday, I have helped thousands of children, adults, and individuals from diverse backgrounds learn to swim, build water confidence, and develop their swimming abilities.

My experience spans Learn to Swim programs, adult beginner swimming, school swimming development, fitness swimming, squad preparation, and inclusive swimming programs for individuals with varying abilities and needs. I am particularly passionate about helping adults who have never had the opportunity to learn swimming, as well as supporting culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) communities to gain confidence and safety in the water.

I hold recognized Australian swimming qualifications, including the Swimming Australia Development Coach accreditation, and I am committed to delivering safe, professional, and inclusive aquatic education.

Throughout my career, I have worked with swimmers ranging from complete beginners to competitive athletes. My coaching philosophy focuses on building confidence first, followed by skill development, technique improvement, and long-term participation in swimming.

Having successfully established Swimming Everyday in Nepal, I am now bringing this experience to Perth through Swimming Everyday Australia, with the vision of creating an inclusive Learn to Swim and aquatic development pathway for children, adults, families, and diverse communities.

My goal is simple: to help people move from fear to confidence, from confidence to competence, and from competence to lifelong enjoyment of swimming.
