About Kayla
Hello and welcome! I’m a qualified Bachelor of Education (BEd) teacher with a passion for helping learners understand challenging concepts and reach their full academic potential.
I offer personalised online lessons in Mathematics, Natural Science, and English. My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and learner-centred. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit your individual learning pace, needs, and goals.
In my lessons, you can expect clear explanations, practical examples, guided practice, and opportunities to ask questions. I aim to create a positive environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes, because mistakes are an important part of learning. My goal is not simply to help you memorise information, but to help you truly understand what you are learning and develop the confidence to work independently.

I am a passionate and qualified BEd teacher who believes that learning should be enjoyable, engaging, and suited to each learner’s individual needs. I offer personalised online tutoring in Mathematics, Natural Science, and English, with lessons designed to help learners understand concepts clearly and build confidence in their abilities.
My teaching methodology is learner-centred and interactive. I break difficult topics into simple, manageable steps and use practical examples, questioning, discussions, and activities to make learning easier and more meaningful. What makes me unique is my patience, positive approach, and commitment to ensuring that every learner feels comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process.
I am proficient in English and conduct my lessons in English. I communicate clearly and adapt my explanations according to each learner’s level of understanding and preferred pace.
During a typical lesson, we begin by reviewing previous work or identifying areas that the learner finds challenging. I introduce the new topic, explain it step-by-step, demonstrate examples, and then allow the learner to practise with my guidance. I provide constructive feedback throughout the lesson and finish with a short review to ensure the learner understands the key concepts.
My lessons are suitable for primary and secondary school learners who need extra academic support, want to improve their understanding of a subject, prepare for tests or examinations, or simply want to strengthen their academic skills.
