About Rita adriana

I am a qualified CELTA teacher, however, I am Italian and I was born and raised in Italy.

After my bachelor's degree, I spent too long lingering about whether to start traveling to discover the world or not. It took me a while but eventually I decided to take a leap into the unknown, and so I did.

After several months spent traveling among Europe, Africa, and Australia, I decided to settle in London where I live and work still nowadays. Here I also completed my studies with a master's in translation which boosted my creativity, and I also get certified as a CELTA teacher. Thanks to the latter I have mastered a different methodology that I apply to every language lesson, either Italian or English.

About the lesson

Students are the center of my lesson, therefore, my first approach is communicative, to get to know you first.
From there, we can then move on to a more structured lesson plan. Each student is different, as you are, dear reader.
I will teach English in English, as well as Italian and Spanish :) No exception, not even for fellow Italian speakers, as the key to learning a new language is to deep dive into it.
You can also book informal lessons if you fancy a spontaneous conversation or if you just need a hand with homework or the writing of your CV.

Perfect! Rita is friendly and relaxed. I am enjoying our conversation classes. She corrects mistakes that I am saying, explaining why it is better to say a phrase a different way and she helps me to speak Italian in a way that'll is more socially acceptable and accurate. :)

Perfect! Adriana is an excellent tutor. She is organised and clear in her teaching objectives whilst still having lots of enthusiasm. Adriana quickly identifies any “weaknesses” in order to tailor lessons to develop fluency, accuracy and gain confidence in speaking Italian.

As an aside, her English is faultless too. This is a distinct advantage when it is simply not possible to articulate something in Italian!

Finally, Adriana is “simpaticissima” with a great sense of humour. I have no hesitation in recommending Adriana for Italian tuition!

She's great! She has been very calm and supportive throughout all of our lessons. I had to study eng for an uni exam and thanks to her,i overcome my shyness of speaking english outloud. Her way of teaching is something i wasn't used to,been trying before with other tutors, and i always felt as if i was in class with the classic explanation and repetition...with Adriana is more about logic and association, she lead you to the point of the lesson,so you don't even have to try to remember things, since you understand them completely. Great sense of humour too! No doll lessons at all. It was always a pleasure to learn with her.
Ps: i pass the exam and believe it or not, i wasn't even nervous that day! Thank you Adriana!

Adriana is one of the best teachers I've ever had. She shows patience and dedication to the job, providing always alternative ways to teach and to support your learning process. She is funny and reliable and she always makes sure to adapt the content of a lesson to your specific needs! Studying with her is having fun and learning at the same time! I definitely recommend her !
