About Faheem
I am a friendly and enthusiastic newly-qualified Doctor who has just graduated from Trinity College, University of Cambridge. I was born and raised in Birmingham, and have lived in Cambridge for the last 5 years.
I have 10 GCSEs and 4 A-levels (maths, biology, chemistry, and physics), all at A* grade.
I am very passionate about science, maths, and medicine - something I have always tried to instil in my students!

My approach to teaching is the same as my approach to learning - from first principles. If a student understands the very basic ideas well, and can apply them in any situation, they should be able tackle any problem given to them. It is my belief that properly understanding something, rather than just rote learning, results in knowledge that is far more versatile and easier to retain. In my lessons, I teach my students the fundamental whys and hows of a topic, allowing them to go away with a real understanding. Learning like this is also more interesting and enjoyable! I work very hard to make sure my students enjoy their lessons, because a more enjoyable lesson is a more memorable one. You always do better at something when you like doing it!
