About Cristina
Hello! My name is Cristina, and I am a qualified and passionate teacher with several years of experience teaching English and Math to young learners. I hold a teaching qualification and have worked both in the classroom and online, supporting students from diverse backgrounds, including those learning English as a second language. I specialize in working with primary school students (Grades 2–5) and focus on helping them build strong foundational skills, develop confidence, and enjoy learning. My teaching style is patient, encouraging, and interactive—I believe in making every lesson engaging and meaningful by using creative activities, real-life examples, and plenty of positive reinforcement. In addition to English, I am also fluent in Afrikaans, which allows me to support students who may benefit from bilingual instruction.
