About Elisabeth

I am a qualified ESL Teacher and a native speaker of both German and English with more than 5 years' experience of teaching and tutoring languages. Language is something I am passionate about, and I am currently pursuing a Master's in Speech and Language Pathology to further deepen my understanding of how we humans use language to communicate. I have taught in classrooms, one-on-one, face-to-face and online, and I show up to each lesson with a good-natured patience, a sense of fun, and a high level of preparation.

About the lesson

Typical lesson length: 1 hour

I am a qualified ESL teacher with more than 4 years' classroom experience at this stage. I have taught a variety of exam preparation courses, as well as Business English and General English at all levels.
Some of the things I offer include:
- Conversational English
- English grammar, reading, writing, speaking, pronunciation and listening.
- Business English, including preparing for interviews, projects, or presentations.
- Cambridge Exam preparation
- TOEFL Exam preparation
- IELTS Exam preparation

How I teach:
In the first lesson (which is free), we will talk about your goals and the time frame in which you are hoping to achieve them, as well as learning strategies you already use, ways in which you learn or have enjoyed learning in the past, and the level of you are currently at.

I like to use a variety of resources to make your learning experience more rounded and enriching. This includes using materials I have created myself, text books, online materials, games, past papers, podcasts and articles in areas of interest to you, etc.
