About Wendy
I am a retired creative arts primary teacher who worked in both public and private primary schools throughout Australia .over a period of 20 years .
When I returned to formal Uni studies in 2008 as a mature aged student to upgrade my teaching qualifications I achieved 5 out of 6 High Distinctions for the bridging year that I did to turn my teaching Diploma into a Bachelor of Education
I have a website on academia where I share articles stories and posts globally with other students and academics
I have had 2 children's books published one of which I illustrated and wrote (Creme and Caramel's BIg Adventure )and self published Currently working on several more self publishing projects
I received funding from the Australian Film Commission to write a children's animated musical film
I am keen to support and facilitate students in their best understanding of required study materials and in expressing of their ideas and unique voice through the written word
