About Kyle
Football has been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember — as a player, and now as a coach dedicated to developing the next generation of footballers in the Newcastle region.
I currently coach at Newcastle Olympic FC, one of the Hunter’s most respected clubs, where I work across the academy and youth programs as well as senior teams. It’s a role I love because no two days are the same and that variety keeps me sharp.
On the qualifications side, I hold a Football Australia B-License, having also completed my C-License and FA Skills Certificate along the way. I’m working toward my A-License in 2027. I take my own development as a coach as seriously as I take my players’ development on the pitch.
My approach is principle-based I want players to understand why they’re doing something, not just follow instructions. When a player starts making the right decision on their own without being told, that’s the best feeling in coaching.
I genuinely enjoy working with players of all ages and levels. Whether you’re a 10-year-old just falling in love with the game or an adult player chasing a competitive goal, I’ll meet you where you are and help you get to where you want to be.
