About Mieke
I am a sincere and steadfast person who loves working with children and supporting them in all possible ways so that they can develop to their full potential. I feel strongly about inclusive education and that children should be given equal opportunities to perform. I am adaptable and willing to learn. I am dedicated, hardworking, and willing to go the extra mile. I finished my Bachelors in Foundation Phase Education from Stellenbosch University in 2020. I've had various practical experiences at primary schools in George as well as Stellenbosch. I greatly enjoy being around young minds and seeing them grow under my guidance.

I believe every learner is different and unique in the way they learn and develop, therefore I realize the importance of adapting my teaching style to accommodate every learner as much as possible. I always try to add fun to a lesson and to make the learning process enjoyable, because I know that it helps for motivation and participation. I'm a qualified Foundation Phase Teacher (Gr.R-3), but I'm also willing to teach Intermediate Phase. I'm passionate about Maths, Languages, EMS, and Natural Science.
