About Frankie

For more than fifteen years, I have been teaching French to school children aged five to sixteen (GCSE) in the classroom and also helping adults with their studies. My background in both French and Education studies gives me a unique perspective, allowing me to tailor my teaching approach to suit each individual learner and their specific needs.

I am known for being a friendly and approachable tutor, so my students always feel at ease sharing any concerns they have about their studies. Our lessons are very much a two way street.

About the lesson

Every student is unique, and that’s why I’m so happy to offer a tutoring experience that’s tailored just for you. I’ve taught French in schools all over the UK, from primary to GCSE as well as adults who just want to learn some French for their holidays so I know how to help students at various levels.

In our first session, we’ll chat about what you already know, what you want to achieve and how you like to learn best. Then, we’ll team up to reach your goals with a mix of fun and engaging activities.

As for my qualifications, I have a degree in French and a Master’s in Education from the University of Cambridge, and I’m currently writing my PhD thesis in Education at the same university.

Our lessons will be one hour long. I’m happy to host (I live in the centre of Sutton Coldfield), or travel to your home (within Sutton Coldfield), or teach online.

I’m excited to hear from you and see if we can work together!

I have known Frankie for eight and a half years. During that time he has been a successful languages teacher and subject leader. He has also managed to study for a Masters degree in Education Leadership and Improvement at the University of Cambridge which he completed in 2019. He is due to complete his Doctorate in Education this year. Frankie is a teacher devoted to the success of his students and colleagues who has committed many years of his own time to researching how schools can all be places where everyone can achieve their full potential. I recommend him without reservation.
