About Lily

Hello, my name is Lily and I am an experienced mathematics tutor with over 12 years of teaching experience. I am currently employed as a Mathematics teacher in NSW and hold a Bachelor of Laws and a Master of Teaching. I am passionate about challenging the belief that mathematics is “hard.” With the right support and guidance, I believe all students are capable of meeting curriculum standards and developing confidence in their abilities. Mathematics is a powerful tool for understanding the world, and I strive to encourage students to become lifelong learners who continue to grow mathematically along their chosen paths. I am a calm, nurturing, and flexible tutor who is dedicated to making students feel supported and confident in their learning. My goal is to create a positive learning environment where students can enjoy mathematics, build resilience, and develop a deeper understanding of key concepts. One-on-one tutoring allows for personalised instruction and close monitoring of progress.
