About Gemma
I am an economics graduate from England who has completed a PGCE in secondary mathematics. I have been responsible for planning sequence of lessons marking work and teaching classes of all abilities. I have worked in primary schools as a teaching aid and love working with children. I understand the challenges that come with maths and believe that it’s a subject that everyone can enjoy if the correct approach is taken. I want to show people that maths can be fun despite what people say! There is definitely more to the subject then just numbers and algebra and it can provide many life skills such as problem-solving and critical thinking.

I have different techniques to suit different people based on your ability, varying from exploratory problems solving to mathematical games. We can work together to develop your core understanding which we can build on overtime.
