About Josh
I went into teaching straight after my Maths degree at the University of Warwick and haven't looked back since! I have always loved Maths, and now discovered that I love teaching Maths!
I have a light-hearted and enthusiastic approach to teaching and thrive working with students to be able to experience that breakthrough 'ahh' moment. I fully appreciate the challenges that studying Maths can throw at you and will work with your child to build their confidence session by session.

I thoroughly enjoy working with students as they navigate the challenges of A Level maths. Depending on the timescale we have to work with and the needs of the students, I will tailor the sessions to probe for understanding and/or discuss efficient approaches and methods. Having taught A Level Maths and Further Maths for 12 years, I believe I have the skills needed to help your child succeed.
I have successfully tutored several students in my career both in person and online, and discovered that being able to collaboratively work on a digital canvas to be the most effective setup. Typically, 1-hour sessions in the week during the evening work best for me. I currently teach the Edexcel syllabus.
