About Sal
I’m a dedicated Maths tutor with a First Class degree in Mathematics and a PGCE in Secondary Education. I’ve supported students both in schools and one-to-one, and I always adapt my teaching to suit each student’s goals, confidence, and learning style. Whether you're aiming for a top grade or working towards a pass, I’m here to help make maths feel more manageable — and maybe even enjoyable. Outside of tutoring, I enjoy sports, games, and writing. I'm someone who likes to explore and experience life from many angles. My aim with every student is not just academic improvement, but to help them grow in confidence and fulfilment. Maths is simply one of the avenues we use to get there.

Every new student begins with a Diagnostic Lesson to identify key strengths and areas for improvement. This ensures that every session which follows is completely tailored to their needs.
Having worked in both one-to-one and classroom settings, I have a strong understanding of the common gaps and misconceptions students encounter throughout their learning journey. Using the Diagnostic Lesson, I design a personalised curriculum for each student to help them build confidence and achieve their full potential.
Lessons are 60 minutes long and available for all KS3, KS4, AS, and A2 students.
