About Isabella
My name is Isabella and I am a qualified teacher with a degree in French studies from the University of Kent. I have always enjoyed the personal journey involved with teaching, and seeing my students gain an interest in learning languages. I also enjoy breaking down the barriers to learning for students, as well as helping them realise their personal goals and ambitions for learning.

I’ve spent lots of time within a school environment, and one of the things I’ve noticed is how much impact 1:1 teaching has on a student’s progress. My approach to private tutoring is to always support the specific student’s learning targets, and to plan lessons to help them reach these goals. I have worked with students at different key stages so I have experience with different exam requirements and expectations. I always find the opportunity to apply real-world examples within my lessons to help break down barriers for students and to give them practical application for their learning outside the classroom.
