About Suraya
Hello! My name is Suraya, and I am a qualified New Zealand primary teacher with experience supporting learners in their education.
I am a friendly, patient and encouraging teacher who enjoys helping students feel more confident in English. I understand that learning a new language can sometimes feel challenging, so I create a relaxed and supportive environment where students can learn at their own pace.
I enjoy getting to know my students and adapting my lessons to their individual needs, interests and goals. Whether you are learning English from the beginning or simply want to become more confident speaking, I am here to support you throughout your learning journey.

I am a qualified New Zealand primary teacher with experience supporting children in their learning. I believe English lessons should be enjoyable, practical and tailored to each student's needs and learning level.
My lessons are interactive and student-centred. I use conversations, questions, reading, vocabulary activities, games and real-life situations to help students build their English skills naturally. I encourage students to speak as much as possible and create a friendly, supportive environment where they feel comfortable making mistakes and learning from them.
Lessons are usually 45–60 minutes, depending on the student's age, level and learning goals.
My lessons are suitable for beginners, primary-aged learners and students who want to improve their everyday English, speaking, vocabulary, reading and confidence. I am patient, flexible and happy to adapt lessons to suit each student's individual learning needs.
Whether you are just starting to learn English or want to become more confident using it, I would love to help you enjoy the learning process!
