About Ifrah
I am an experienced secondary school mathematics teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). I have experience teaching the new Maths syllabus for OCR, AQA and Edexcel for GCSE. I have completed a BSc in Economics, I have been providing tuition in mathematics for over 10 years and have worked as a secondary school Mathematics Teacher for over 6 years. I have experience teaching to individual students, to small groups and to classes of up to 35 students.

My passion is teaching maths and I always aim to make it easy for my students who will grow to love maths themselves. I am currently teaching Maths in a Secondary School where my focus is on top sets ensuring they achieve a grade 9. My lessons typically range from 2 hours to 3 hours per week. In my first lesson, I like to build a relationship with my students to ensure they are free to express any concerns or issues they have which will allow them the freedom to ask any questions freely. From the first lesson, I can gauge their level and from there create a plan to help them achieve the highest GCSE grade possible. This plan will focus on tackling the topics they are struggling with first and then go over topics which they need additional support in.
