About Stephanie

My name is Stephanie and I am 27 years old. I have had 6 years experience as a full time teacher in a primary school. I have taught all years from kindy to year 6.

The reason why I have decided to do tutoring is because I have recently had a baby and I am only working 2 days a week at a primary school. I want to do some extra work to help students who need extra support or students that want to extend their learning. Teaching is a job I enjoy as it is a rewarding job.

About the lesson

What I do:
I can help your child with homework that is provided by their classroom teacher.
I can work on specific areas where your child needs extra support using my own resources and activities.
I can do my own assessments and provide the best learning experiences based on the Australian Curriculum.
I am happy to communicate with your child's classroom teacher.

As a teacher of 6 years, I have had experience with many different teaching strategies as every child is different and they learn differently. I will get to know your child's learning style and will teach accordingly.

The length of the lessons is from 1 hour.

The lessons are for pre-schoolers to year 6.

Pay as you go:
The first lesson is only $20 and includes a pre-assessment to determine where your child is at.

Group Tutoring: $30 per person.
This is where students are grouped according to their subject/ability and can be involved in group tutoring. Minimum of 3 students and maximum of 5 students.

10 Week Program (Face to Face Support): From $200 per person
Includes 10 x 1 hour face to face lessons includes free pre-assessment and post assessment. Plus 2 free tutoring lessons. Extra resources/activities to take home can be provided.
