About Lauren
I am a fully qualified primary school teacher (Bachelor of Education) and have worked in a private school for the past 4 years. This year, I have taken on a part time role and am looking to assist students (K-6) in my local area to develop their understanding of a variety of concepts in both English and Mathematics.

My lesson structure follows a hands-on approach where the student is in control of their learning. I utilise student interests and strengths to communicate new ideas and concepts. My lessons revolve around curriculum and syllabus outcomes whilst remaining engaging and authentic experiences. My teaching pedagogy places a strong emphasis on the student-centred learning experience whilst I facilitate and enhance their understanding. I strive to create an inclusive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable to ask questions and learn from mistakes.
