My teaching method is catered to meet the needs of a range of students, inclusive of visual, auditory and kinaesthetic styles. My lesson structure may consist of: a recap of prior learning, introduction of new learning/intentions, teaching input with student contributions and tasks for the students to complete with guidance (dependent on their ability). I would finish with a summary of what we have learnt and use formative assessment to inform the next session/next steps of their learning.
I am qualified as Primary School Teacher. Currently studying a Masters of Education at QUT with the intention of becoming an Inclusion or Special Needs Teacher in Australia. I have experience of teaching within a multi-cultural setting with a vast amount of children having English as an additional language.
