About Jennifer
I have been a Primary School teacher for 5 years. My favourite subject to teach was always English - I love books, and the creative process of writing. I believe being a good reader can help you flourish in all areas of school. The thing I love most about teaching is most certainly my pupils. I am looking forward to combining my love of English with my skills as a teacher. I will deliver creative and fun lessons in order to help students who are struggling in this subject become more confident.

My lessons will be geared towards the specific age and needs of each individual child. My aim is to make learning fun and not feel like learning at all. My English lessons are centred around an amazing stimulus - this can be a fab children's book, video or a great example text! Children will be taught to explore, have a go and most importantly enjoy the process of reading and writing; building confidence as they go. In my lessons, children will be taught that making mistakes and getting something wrong is not a bad thing - they are part of the learning process and actually help to facilitate our learning.
