About Annie
I am a passionate and dedicated qualified Primary Teacher with a First-Class degree in Primary Education and experience teaching children across Early Years and Key Stage 1. I recently returned to the UK after teaching Reception (FS2) at an Outstanding international school in Dubai, where I developed a strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and the importance of creating engaging, nurturing learning environments.
I have experience supporting children with a wide range of abilities and needs, including developing early reading, phonics, writing and maths skills. I particularly enjoy helping children build confidence, develop independence and achieve their personal goals through personalised, child-centred teaching.
Alongside my classroom experience, I have worked in nursery settings and as a Room Leader, giving me a strong understanding of early childhood development and how to support children at different stages of their learning journey. I believe that children learn best when they feel valued, encouraged and motivated, and I aim to make every lesson enjoyable, supportive and tailored to each child.
I am currently based in Manchester, working as a supply teacher while continuing to support children through tutoring. I look forward to helping children feel more confident in their learning and reach their full potential.

My lessons are tailored to each child’s individual needs, focusing on building confidence, developing key skills and creating a positive attitude towards learning. As a qualified Primary Teacher with a First-Class degree in Primary Education and experience teaching Reception (FS2) in an Outstanding international school, I specialise in supporting children from Early Years through to Key Stage 2. I use a range of engaging, child-centred teaching strategies, including practical activities, questioning, modelling and personalised learning tasks, to ensure children understand concepts and can apply their knowledge independently.
Lessons typically last 45–60 minutes, allowing enough time to introduce new learning, practise skills and reflect on progress. I have particular experience supporting phonics, early reading, writing, maths foundations and school readiness, as well as helping children who need additional confidence or support to close gaps in their learning. My tutoring is suitable for children aged 3–11 (Reception to Year 6), whether they are preparing for school, needing extra support alongside classroom learning, or looking to extend their skills further.
