I liaise with parents and encourage parents to discuss the child's needs with the class teacher to ensure outcomes for tutoring are clear.
Depending on student needs, lessons go through a variety of activities designed to learn concepts and increase or encourage skill learning while also being fun and engaging.
In previous tutoring sessions, I have brought a variety of work sheets as well as a laptop to do educational games on once concepts are clear and to use as a reward in the last few minutes of a session.
