About Jinhua
Hi, my name is Jinhua. I am a UK qualified primary school teacher with more than 20 years of teaching experience in British state schools.
I specialized in phonics and early reading, especially preparing children for the Y1 phonics screening check and Y2 SATs.
In my lessons, I used a structured, systematic phonics approach to help children develop accurate pronunciation, strong blending/segmenting skills, and real reading confidence.
I have extensive experience in supporting children 4-12, including English as a second language.
As I was born in China, I also understand the challenges Chinese children may face when learning phonics, and I can communicate clearly with parents if needed.
My lessons are patient, supportive, and results focused. I aim to help every child build a strong foundation in reading and enjoy learning English.
