I teach students how to code using the programs Scratch and Makecode.
Coding teaches students critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as a better understanding of technology and how it works. It encourages creativity and innovation by allowing students to create their own programs and games. Additionally, coding can improve student’s mathematical and logical thinking abilities, helping them to excel in other subjects as well.
I adjust the lessons according to student’s interests and ability. For me it is important that students enjoy learning and so I focus on activities like learning how to make games and animations. Learning is done through these activities so that students are taught core coding skills and understanding in a fun and relaxed way.
