About Sara
Hi, I'm Sara, a qualified secondary teacher with experience teaching science and supporting students from a range of educational backgrounds. I am passionate about helping learners build confidence, develop strong study habits and achieve their academic goals.
My teaching approach encourages students to look beyond individual topics and recognise the connections between different areas of science. By drawing links between Biology, Chemistry and Physics, I help students develop a deeper understanding of scientific concepts and how they interact in the wider world. I enjoy taking an interdisciplinary approach that promotes curiosity, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
I strive to create a supportive, encouraging and professional learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, exploring ideas and reaching their full potential.

My lessons are tailored to each student's needs, goals and current level of understanding. As a qualified secondary teacher with experience teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics, I focus on building strong foundations while helping students develop confidence and effective study habits.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes and are adapted to the student's learning style and curriculum requirements. I use clear explanations, worked examples, practice questions and regular feedback to reinforce understanding and identify areas for improvement. I can support students with Biology, Chemistry and General Science, including topic revision, homework support, exam preparation and study skills.
I offer tuition for secondary school and GCSE students and aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, developing their understanding and reaching their academic potential.
