About Stevie
I studied at a well respected grammar school in Shropshire and have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield. I am now a qualified Secondary Science teacher, specialising in Physics. I have worked with a variety of students, from those who struggle with the basics to those who need a challenge. I have plenty of experience with students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), as well as students whose first language is not English (EAL). As every student and every class is unique, I like to tailor my lessons and teaching approaches to suit individual needs and targets. My lessons are structured using a diagnostic approach, pinpointing gaps in knowledge or misconceptions, and working through methodically to tackle misconceptions and build upon what the students already know.
