My name is Siân and I’m a 27 year-old qualified teacher with a PGCE, and a Masters degree in Sociology and Criminology.
My teaching methods depend on the individual student. I am happy to adapt my approach to suit you. Whether that be delivering traditional lessons, having a discussion or focusing on exam technique.
The typical length of a lesson would be 1 hour, but this can be adjusted depending on what you require. I have experience teaching students aged 14-19, but have also worked to support university students
As well as teaching large classes, I have experience in offering one-to-one tutoring to my students. Throughout my teaching career I have developed experience in teaching students with SEND, and so would be able to adapt my tutoring approach to meet individual needs.
I'm a friendly and outgoing person, and I'm also very calm and patient. I have had the pleasure of teaching a range of students with varying needs, since I began my teaching journey. I also understand what it feels like to struggle with academic work so I hope that students would feel comfortable with me.
I am available to conduct both online and in person lessons, depending on location
