About Nicoletta

With over seven years of experience teaching Spanish and French in leading independent boarding schools, I bring both expertise and passion to language education. As a former Head of Spanish, I have developed a deep understanding of how to inspire students, design engaging curricula, and foster lasting confidence in their language abilities. My teaching is rooted in making languages accessible, enjoyable and relevant, whether through exam preparation, sharpening conversational fluency or exploring the cultural richness behind the words. About the lesson

As a former French and Spanish teacher, I’ve had the privilege of sharing my passion for language and culture with students from diverse backgrounds. My journey in education has been driven by a love for communication and an enthusiasm for helping others discover new ways to express themselves. Over the years, I have developed a variety of teaching methods that cater to different learning styles, ensuring that each student can grasp the intricacies of language at their own pace. Now, as I transition into the role of a tutor, I'm excited to build more personalized and engaging learning experiences.

Throughout my career in education, I have had the enriching experience of working in independent day and boarding schools, where I specialized in preparing students for GCSE and A-level examinations. This role allowed me to foster a deep understanding of the curriculum and develop tailored strategies that cater to diverse learning styles, ensuring that each student maximizes their potential. My tenure as the lead for the KS3 and 4 Spanish curriculum was particularly rewarding, as it enabled me to design engaging lesson plans that not only met educational standards but also ignited a passion for language learning among students.

My journey in language education was further enhanced by my time working in a Spanish school in Valencia. Immersing myself in the culture and language profoundly shaped my teaching methodology, as I was able to integrate authentic materials and real-world experiences into my lessons. I hold a degree in French and Spanish from the University of Nottingham, which laid a solid foundation for my linguistic expertise and teaching approach.
