About Jason
Hi everyone, I'm a qualified swim teacher and pool lifeguard. I believe everyone should be able to embrace the water and swimming and my passion is to teach swimming and promote safety around the water. Currently I'm undertaking the Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Melbourne and working at Monash Aquatic Recreation Centre as a swim teacher and lifeguard.

Teaching all ages to learn to swim, including children, teens and adults. Lessons can range from 30 minutes to an hour or hour and a half. ASCTA and Swim Australia qualified as well as Pool Lifeguard certificate. I like to use a range of teaching techniques. A typical lesson will involve warmup skills and drills, followed by a progressive series of exercises where feedback and specific advice is given after each lap to improve technique and skill. These lessons take into account the best advice for that person, including their body, physicality and goals.
