About Charlotte
I am currently taking a sabbatical year after four years teaching AQA French and Spanish A level and acting as SENCO at the London Academy of Excellence. Prior to this, I taught the Pre U in both languages at Harris Westminster Sixth Form for three years. I was awarded a First Class degree in French and Spanish at the University of Leeds in 2012 and did my PGCE at King's College London, and have since lived in France, Spain and Argentina, where I taught English at University level. My main hobby is theatre directing: I founded a theatre company, Lingua Franca Theatre, to make classic foreign language plays more accessible to students and toured in schools including City of London School for Boys (where I used to teach) and City of London School for Girls (where I went to school). I enjoy helping students explore language and literature in creative ways in my lessons.

I have worked for 7 years as a qualified teacher and tutor and have experience working with a wide variety of students. I can adapt lessons for students wanting to excel at GCSE, A Level, international qualifications or for those who just want to learn French or Spanish for fun.
