About Jessica
I am an ardent believer that we can be instrumental in our own career paths, whatever our learning abilities.
I was fortunate when I finished Art College at 18 years old to combine working in the hospitality industries with my love of travelling, allowing me to work in America and Africa.
I have enjoyed a 17 year nursing career in the NHS becoming an Accident & Emergency Sister, then moved to Wales and decided to face new challenges of running my own restaurant.
With each career change I have had to retrain whether at University or on the job, which has always opened up exciting new opportunities.
My teaching specialisms are Maths and Biology, however I have teaching experience in other subjects and feel confident that I will be able to meet your needs, whether you are specifically revising for GCSE exams, or require curriculum specific lessons.

Lessons are online, with an initial chat to find what are the learning requirements and how these can be met. I am here to meet your learning needs, by providing comprehensive teaching using both structured lesson plans and flexible student lead teaching methods. It is important that students' are aware of their learning progress, are appropriately challenged and are encouraged to enjoy their learning tasks through various activities, assessments and teaching methods.
1 hour lessons, with a warm up, main topic/activity and assessment. GCSE revision incorporates a mixture of recap activities, exam question practice, revision cards.
