I generally use a mastery approach, using manipulatives and diagrams to support the more abstract concepts of number, and focussing, in blocks of time,on areas of need. I am experienced in finding gaps in knowledge and supporting in areas of weakness, adapting the methodology and approach to the needs of the child. I also provide short teaching videos that pupil can access at all times.
