About Sam
I am a qualified teacher specialising in GCSE/A-level Spanish, with other strengths in French, Italian and Maths. I have an enhanced DBS and several years of experience working in secondary and primary schools in the UK and Spain. Living in Spain made me realise how a second language can make so many unique experiences and opportunities possible, so I am passionate about passing on my knowledge. I want to help you succeed!

My lessons can take a more relaxed or heavily structured approach depending on the level and needs of my students. As well as the standard modalities of reading, writing, speaking and listening, I focus on the importance of key phonics and cultural knowledge. I provide vocabulary to learn in your own time, which we will then work on using together across different contexts. My degree is in Spanish and Media, so I often utilise film, TV, music, documentaries and news to contextualise and enhance new knowledge.
